Breakfast and check out. Drive approximately 5 hours to Thimphu. En route visit Kharbandi Gompa. In Thimphu visit BBS Clock Tower, Tashichho Dzong. Free time for shopping at local market. Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Breakfast. Full-day sightseeing in Thimphu. Visit Royal Takin Preserve, Buddha Dordenma Statue, Standing Buddha Park, National Library, Handicraft Centre, and Simply Bhutan. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Breakfast and check out. Drive approximately 2 hours to Paro. Visit traditional Bhutanese beer brewery, National Museum (Ta Dzong), and Paro Dzong. Evening: traditional Bhutanese cultural program (at own expense). Dinner and overnight stay in Paro.

Breakfast. Visit Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest) — perched on a cliff at approximately 3,120 metres. The trek is approximately 12 km total from Paro town. After return, visit Drukgyel Dzong Viewpoint. Free time for shopping at local market. Dinner and overnight stay in Paro.

Breakfast and check out. Begin the approximately 9-hour road journey back to Bagdogra. Check in at hotel, have dinner. Overnight stay in Bagdogra.
